Civil Engineering Project Manager
The selected candidate will plan, design, and manage infrastructure construction projects in a multidisciplinary setting. The candidate must possess a positive attitude toward expanding their abilities and be ambitious to lead the responsible development of our community via public safety, aesthetic design, environmental responsibility, innovation, and other methods. The small business work environment will introduce the candidate to a broad skill set through experiences within the office and in the field within all of the company’s specialties.
Responsibilities
Meet/work/collaborate with project stakeholders (other engineers, sub-consultants, contractors, and owners) to ensure detailed understanding of scope and objective of project
Understand Project Requirements, Constraints, and Objectives
Adhere to project schedule with pre-approval of any scheduling changes
Develop Site, Utility and Infrastructure Engineering Construction Plans and Specifications
Necessary use of AutoCAD or Civil 3D for detailed design
Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Dropbox and general website navigation required
Perform Construction Observation/Inspection
Personal, daily travel as needed for length of project
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the project (could include extended daily hours, nights or weekends)
Must be able to navigate treatment plants (includes climbing and descending stairs and ladders), various types of roofing systems (includes climbing ladders) and construction sites
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Must be able to perform duties independently and without supervision, when required
Must abide by all known and required safety regulations of Owners
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
BS Civil Engineering | or related field
Minimum of Registered Engineering Intern (EI) in the State of Indiana \ PE preferred
Organized & Comprehensive Documentation Skills
CAD & Civil 3D Proficiency
